WHAT IS “FJAKA”?

The word comes from the Croatian dialect spoken in the south and means: the Dalmatian art of sweet idleness, where time slows, the soul breathes, and creativity flows like a gentle sea breeze.

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Hi there!

My name is Emily, and I’m the creative force behind Studio Fjaka. It embodies everything I hoped a career in creativity could be - blending my Dalmatian heritage with a commitment to giving you the best possible experience in visualizing and creating your dream.

With a background in Graphic & Motion Design, paired with Photography, I’ve been fortunate to gather over 7 years of experience across various marketing agencies and companies. I’ve created websites, video campaigns, corporate identities, commercial photos, and illustrations but now, it’s time to take my creative journey into my own hands.

I want to show the world a different kind of creative agency. Alongside my incredible assistants, Carla and Hannes, we’re building something special: a studio where creativity comes first. Here, we don’t just design a logo for you - we tell your whole story, help you stand out and give design, illustrations and photos the room they deserve to breathe.
